Production Batches

Plan a batch from a recipe, see whether you have enough of everything, and complete it with your started, good and rejected counts. One step uses up the ingredients, adds the finished goods and posts the cost.

What you can do

  • Plan a batch from any recipe and check stock first
  • Complete with started, good and rejected counts
  • Ingredients used and finished goods added in one step
  • Batch cost posts to your books automatically
  • A completed batch can be reversed — history is never edited
  • A simple “Make” screen built for the shop floor and your phone

Made for batch and formula makers

GodKey’s production is built for formula and batch manufacturing — soap, candles, bath and body, cosmetics, sauces, small-batch goods. Job-shop routing and multi-step assembly aren’t built yet.

Mistakes are reversed, not erased

If a batch was entered wrong, reverse it and enter it again. The original and the reversal both stay in the history, which is how good books are kept.

Questions

Does GodKey MFG support job shops?

Not yet. Production today is built for recipe- and batch-based manufacturing. Job-shop routing and assembly aren’t built.

Does GodKey MFG do lot tracking?

Not yet. You can trace a payment back to its bill, purchase order, receipts and the batches that used those materials, but lot-level tracking isn’t built.
