GodKey MFG vs QuickBooks
QuickBooks for manufacturing? Here’s what GodKey MFG adds.
QuickBooks Online is accounting software. Its pricing page lists inventory tracking on the Plus and Advanced plans, and doesn’t mention recipes, bills of materials or batch costing. GodKey MFG starts from the product side — recipes, batches and cost per unit — with full double-entry books underneath.

Questions
Is QuickBooks enough for a small manufacturing business?
QuickBooks handles the books well. Its pricing page lists inventory on Plus and Advanced and doesn’t mention recipes or batch costing — the product side small manufacturers usually need. GodKey MFG covers that, with double-entry books built in. Ask your accountant whether to switch or run both during the beta.
Does GodKey MFG sync with QuickBooks?
No. GodKey MFG keeps its own double-entry books, so most small shops don’t need both. Your accountant can work from GodKey’s reports.
